The Lightbulb Brigade Strikes Again

Kyle Kirk, Jim Reinholdt and X Ecker. They replaced the Clubhouse lights bulbs, even the high ones. Thanks Volunteers.

Listen to the ballad of the Lightbulb Brigade!

A sign is no help if it's not put up.

Volunteers help again by posting new information, rules and compliance signs at the Clubhouse: pools, fitness room, game room and other locations. Dwayne Lairmore created the signs at “cost” for the HOA, look at this “work-of-art” route evacuation map. Thanks to: Seth Finkel, Jeff Gray, George Kelchak, Jim Reinholdt, Mike Schwartz and Tony Marsiglia (X Ecker is taking the photo)We also repurposed the café TV to the Crafts/Chorus Room and will have Crestron finish the required connections in the near future. It works now for internet sources: YouTube, etc.
Thanks to our volunteers. Admire our new signs and comply with their messages.

Power Wash Crew Extraordinaire:

Mike Schwartz, Richard Mellin, John Dimarco, George Kelchak, Jim Reinholdt, Scott Nichols, Guy Manasse (and X Ecker taking the photo). We started at the outdoor pool and finished seven (7) hours later at the pickleball courts. I can’t thank these volunteers enough for all of their hard work. Another fine job by the PWC!

Volunteers prepare for Cinco de Drinko!!

Sunday, April 28th some of the Heritage Handy-person’s Volunteer group got together to assemble the pop-up canopies needed for next week’s “Cinco de Drinko” celebration at the Clubhouse pool. We had a good time, meaning it was much like assembling toys for your kids or grandkids on a Holiday or Birthday morning. It took a lot of team work and head scratching. We didn’t end up with too many left over pieces and the canopies look like the picture on the box!
 Here’s the group:
(L – R) Bruce, Tony, Jim, Val, Tim, Paul, Mike, Seth, Ted (X is taking the picture)

George Kelchak, our resident volunteer painter, hard at work repainting the Clubhouse curbing on Heritage Bridge St. If something has been repainted in Heritage, it was probably done by George – our expert. And yes… his knees hurt.

Here are our intrepid volunteers, assembling our new patio heaters, replacing the old ones that broke. When your outside at “FirePit Fridays,” or any outdoor event and the heaters are on, you thank these fellows:          George Kelchak, John Dimarco, Wes Wietgrefe and Denny Wertheimer.

Book Club Members Rock

A big THANK YOU to Heritage book club members Mimi R, Karen M, Kristin M, Carol H, Cheryl A, Carol W (pictured), Eve F, Jan S, Timmie W, Jan S, Sharon B, Gene M (not pictured) for giving their time and energy to reorganizing our Heritage Lending Library on Thursday and Saturday. Stop by to check it out and borrow your next fav read.

How many Volunteers does It take to change a ton of lightbulbs? Apparently three.
Thanks to Heritage VOLUNTEERS Mike Schwartz, George Kelchak and X Ecker (photographer) for changing the lightbulbs in the clubhouse, saving our HOA big bucks.

Here at Heritage there are many ways to get involved in our community as a volunteer. Below is a list of some of the most critical opportunities. You can volunteer to do as little or as much as you feel comfortable doing, and as frequently as you wish. You can pick one area of interest or more; it’s totally up to you. Whatever you choose will be a great help to our community.

Our clubhouse staff members can only do so much and the clubhouse budget only goes so far. Volunteer help is a critical part of smooth and efficient operations. Everything we Heritage residents do to help impacts the bottom line. If we want to help keep our HOA dues low, we can help by giving off our time and talents. There is a Volunteer binder at the front desk and you can sign up to a shift at the clubhouse there. Help is most needed during the busy time of the day from 9AM until 5PM. You can help for as little or as much as you like, often as little as 30 minutes if that’s all it requires to relieve the staff for a meeting or lunch break. Together let’s support and embrace our mission of “Making Heritage a Great Place to Live!”
